Finding the right ring size is an important part of creating a piece that feels comfortable, secure and truly made for you.
At Gaïa Studio, we work with UK ring sizes. If you already know your size in another sizing system, we can help convert this for you.
Where possible, we recommend having your finger professionally measured before confirming your ring size. If you are based in London, we would be very happy to measure your ring size in person by appointment.
Please keep in mind that ring size can change slightly throughout the day depending on temperature, season, travel and natural changes in the body. Your fingers may feel smaller when cold and slightly larger when warm.
Wider rings, signet rings and heavier bands may also need to fit slightly differently from finer, more delicate rings.
For bespoke engagement rings, we offer one complimentary resize after collection or delivery, where the design allows. Some designs, including rings with diamonds or gemstones set around the band, detailed engraving, or more intricate settings, may have more limited resizing options.
If you are unsure about your size, please get in touch and we will be very happy to guide you.
If you are measuring from home, these methods can help you find a close guide before we confirm the final size together.
01 Take a soft measuring tape, a piece of string, or a thin strip of paper.
02 Wrap it gently around the finger you would like to wear your ring on. If you are measuring for a ring stack, think about where on the finger the ring will sit, as this can affect the size.
03 Mark the point where the string or paper meets.
04 Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres using a ruler.
05 Use the size chart below to find the closest ring size.
01 Choose a ring that already fits the correct finger well.
02 Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres, from one inner edge directly across to the other.
03 Use the size chart below to match the inside diameter to the closest UK ring size.
04 If your measurement sits between two sizes, or you are unsure, please get in touch and we will be very happy to guide you.
